  • Move On When Ready
Metro Tech High School is very proud to have been a participant in this important state and national initiative since 2011-2012. In the MOWR program, students are given an opportunity to demonstrate proficiency on a rigorous board-exam system, ACT QualityCore,  through end-of-course assessments. Successful demonstration of proficiency opens up multiple pathways for students at the end of their sophomore year. For example, students may take an early diploma, called the Grand Canyon Diploma, and enroll full time in a community college or vocational/technical institution. Students may also continue their studies at Metro Tech to prepare for university and career options. You may find additional information at http://www.arizonafuture.org/mowr/ or by contacting the principal, Kate McDonald at 602-764-8008.
