August 30th - September 3rd

The Wilderness Club is an exciting, long standing tradition here at South Mountain. We visit and explore scenic and interesting places all over the state. We have upcoming trips planned to Sedona/Slide Rock, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon. We're open to all students and staff. Come to a meeting and see what we're about. We meet every Tuesday morning in M-134 at 7:30 sharp.

Attention students - the Recycling Club will be putting recycle bins in the cafeteria and quad area starting next week.  Please use these green bins, same as your classroom bins, for RECYCLING only, DO NOT throw regular trash or food items in these bins.  These are the things you can put in our campus recycle bins:

Plastics : All clean bottles, containers and plastic silverware as long as it's clean.

Glass :   All food or beverage glass bottles or jars.

Paper :  All paper and clean food boxes or packaging.

Metals :  All metal - cans, tinfoil, etc. with no food on it.

The Bird is the Word in Jaguarland!  Badminton is looking for athletes to compete in our Olympic sport of badminton.  Softball players who are not doing a fall or winter sport should come out and have fun, learn a new sport and condition for a rigorous upcoming season.  See Coach Diaz in M111 for more information.

Attention students and staff:  This is the 3rd year of our Asian Studies Club at South Mountain campus and we've had very successful two years with many fun activities.  Those activities included teaching some Chinese language, fund raisers and field trips.  We are expecting to have another fun year.  Please come join us.  All our meetings will be on Thursday mornings from 7:30 to 7:50 AM in Room 179.  We're also looking for active and responsible students to run for club president and other positions.  So come and check us out.
